TechnoCool – Art in the Nineties features artists who started working during the 1990s and felt liberated by the economic-cultural openness after the change of the political regime and encountered different conditions for daily life and art-making. Embracing conceptual or formal innovation and a spirit of adventurousness, they introduced new visual tools, image editing programs, computers, sound installation and digital experimentation that served as new forms of self-definition.
